And here is the finished product. I also have pictures of the pre-felted bag and flowers. Instead of using a double strand of Cascade and a size 11 needle, I used a single strand and what I at first thought was a size 8 needle but was really a size 7...but since I was felting the thing, it didn't matter. Also, I made one large flower and two small, only making two layers of petals for the small ones. I assembled the whole thing before throwing it into the washing machine because I'm lazy like that, so the flowers were only slightly felted. But I like the way it turned out.
